Nail of the Day

I finally changed my polish! I had Peacock on for the longest time.

Zoyas Ali:
This is a bottle pic. For some reason this is coming up really coral on camera, but its actually a strawberry pink/ hot pink. Not coral at all.

Here's a pics of with flash:

This is the only Zoya nailpolish I have, but everytime I go to Ulta I gravitate towards them! More Zoya posts are definitely on the way. The application is great it goes on really well. The only thing I dont like is that this one doesn't dry shiny.

Till next time y'all!

A gift...

So my lovely cousin was at American Apperal, and knowing that i am a nailpolish fanatic, she picked out a couple colors for me. Being on a nailpolish ban I was sooo excited to get some new colors.
Here's a picture of all of them.

In order left to right: Peacock,Poppy,Mount Royal.

I did get to try Peacock, and i love it!
*I did take this one after it chipped :(

I love American Apperal nailpolishes they are amazingly opaque. I could have gotten away with one coat, but I did two. The formula isn't too runny or too thick, and they dry really shiny so you probably would't need a top coat, but I am a Seche Vite lover!

Until next time

Nail of the Day

I have two different nails here. Both are pictures from my mini haul.

O.P.I : Hot and Spicy. This has got to be my favorite coral/orange out of all the ones that I have. I first fell for this color when I saw it on Allison or Amarixe from Youtube.

Heres a picture with flash

The second color is from today.
O.P.I: Mod About You. I almost regretted buying this color because I thought it resembled Revlon's Lilac Pastelle. But my thoughts of regret instantly vanished once i painted my nails. Its such a pretty baby pink, with just a tiny-tad of lilac.

Here's a picture with flash:

I also want to show you a comparison of Mod About You vs. Revlon's Lilac Pastelle.

Such a long post I know, but I wanted to make up for not posting for two days. I want to post as often as i can!

Mini nailpolish haul

So yesterday I went shopping and I stopped at Ulta of course, I picked up a couple of nailpolishes i've had my little eye on.

Heres a picture of all of them with flash:
In order from left to right: O.P.I Hot & Spicy, O.P.I Mod about you, Revlon Fuchsia fever #901, Essie absolutely shore.

I can not wait to try out these colors, I feel like they are all perfect summer colors. The Revlon one I think might be only a toe color, but ill try it out on my fingers first. Im not that big on super bright colors on my fingers.
On a side note this might be my only haul for a while, i just started a nailpolish ban today. My boyfriend has not been happy with my growing collection. lol!

These will hold me over for a while i hope. ttyl!

Nails through the month so far...

Heres what ive taken pictures of so far. They were taken with a camera phone so the quality is'nt that great, and that'll change soon. Oh and please dont pay attention to my cuticles! :)

Revlon: Lilac Pastelle #185.
This picture is in natural light with 3 coats and a top coat.

O.P.I: Samoan Sand.
This is one of my all time favorite nudes. Natual light and 3 coats with a top coat.

Orly: Rage.
This is my favorite metallic, a beautiful rose gold. its so opaque i only needed 1 coat but, i did 2 anyway.

Essie: Borrowed and Blue.
So opaque for a pastel, went on really well and i actually got lots of compliments wearing it.

Sally Hansen extreme wear: Lacey lilac.
Another favorite and another opaque pastel.

Revlon: Copper penny.
I have been looking for this color everywhere and i finally got my hands on it! 2 coats and a top coat.

O.P.I: Mermaids tears.
i LOVE this color its a unique color not quite green not quite turquoise. This is 3 coats with a top coat.
